I wanted to start this blog as a way to share and grow my hobbies (new and old). About two months ago was when I really started to explore some new hobbies and interests of mine. As of right now, knitting, organizing, and using essential oils are my current obsessions.
So for my first post, I want to talk about my goals for this year (personal and professional!)
2015 Goals:
-learn about knitting pattern design and create my first pattern
-become comfortable with circular needles
-learn 5 new knitting skills
-get 4.0's in all 5 classes this semester
-lose weight with essential oils
-Slowly convert to natural products, such as:
- hand soap
- face wash
- body wash
- household cleaner
- laundry detergent
- dishwasher soap
- hair dye
-Find organizing solutions for my new home that work long-term
-Find creative DIY decorating ideas for my new home (on a budget!)
So for the next year (and hopefully many years to come!) I'm going to be chronicling all of my adventures in the DIY/crafting world. I hope that I can inspire people to find things they love to do and pursue them to the best of their ability. I hope you all enjoy!!
